Alison
Dineen
Consultant Associate
Alison earned master's degrees
in communication arts (University of West Florida) and museum studies
(George Washington University), with concentrations in public affairs,
museum administration, and American studies. She came to ILE in 2009 after
working as the site director of the Waters House History Center, administered
by the Montgomery County Historical Society (MD). Other professional experience
includes positions with the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Liz Lerman
Dance Exchange, Women's Research and Education Institute, and Maryland
State Government Department of Business and Economic Development. Her
background includes exhibition planning and research, collections care/documentation,
and program management. Having worked for a range of nonprofit organizations,
she is skilled in writing proposals for grant funding.
