The Traveling Exhibitions Roundtable @ AAM 2009

When: 7:30 AM, Saturday May 2
Where: Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Salons C-D

Coffee and refreshments will be provided, thanks to the generous contributions of:

According To Us

This year, the Roundtable will be following the same format that was initiated at last year's conference. The session will be divided into two separate segments, one for Venues (to talk about what kinds of exhibits they're looking for) and one for Providers (to talk about what kind of exhibits they have currently available).

If you are interested in being a speaker, please sign-up (which is free) with us beforehand so we can distribute a Speaker's List with contact information at the session. Judging from attendance at the last several sessions of the roundtable, we expect a large number of speakers, so the rules for the sign-up will be as follows:

  • First come, first served.
  • Please keep you comments succinct and brief. We will have a large number of speakers to accommodate
  • One speaker per organization
    • unless you are speaking as both a venue and a provider, in which case it will be one speaker per segment.
  • Only registered attendees of the larger AAM conference need apply.

To sign up for the Roundtable's speakers list, send us an email. Be sure to tell us if you are interested in speaking as a provider of exhibits or a venue or both!

Material distribution tables will again be available. If you cannot attend the AAM conference, you can send us brochures or other promotional materials. We will see to it that they get put on the distribution tables before the start of the Roundtable. If you are interested in this, please check back or email us and we will notify you when we have the appropriate mailing address.

Also, if you're a lister in our Traveling Exhibitions Database, be sure and check the "freshness" of your entries.
