Description:

A whirling kaleidoscope of light, color, and scientific discovery is offered in this hands-on traveling exhibition. LIGHT & COLOR is extremely pleasing to the eye with its sophisticated design and colorful displays. Each of the nine elegant exhibit tables holds two interactive components and invites visitors to participate in an assortment of fascinating activities. View a variety of amazingly lifelike holograms, split white light into a rainbow of colors, discover the physics behind reflection, and uncover the science behind periscopes. See the ways electricity is used to create light, learn that different gases emit varying colors of light, and angle mirrors to watch the number of reflections multiply. Rapidly spin a black and white Benham’s Disk and glimpse flashes of color such as green and brown, twirl another two-color disk and watch as the colors meld to form a third, new color. Visitors can even test themselves for color blindness and more in this fun and educational exhibition.
