Description:

A wonderful little exhibit that traces the development of writing and the alphabet through four ancient civilizations - Mesopotamia, Phoenicia, Rome, and Egypt. The highlight of the exhibit is an authorized reproduction of the Rosetta Stone; the only official reproduction in a traveling exhibit.

Objects include clay seals, shell money, religious objects, jewelry, weapons, and pottery.

21 object cases, 2 framed prints, 35 panels, 5 maps, 2 "now open" outdoor vinyl banners. Texas educator "TEKS alignment" complete, and an in exhibit worksheet for school groups is also available.
